1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that sites save in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) serves a similar purpose: it keeps small pieces of information in your browser that only the site itself can read.
2.What this site uses
- adba-locale (browser storage)
- Remembers the language you chose (English/Turkish). It stays in your browser until you delete it and is never sent to our server.
- OJSSID (session cookie)
- Set only when you sign in, by our submission system at login.adbajournals.com, to keep you signed in. It lasts at most 30 days and ends when you sign out.
- Google Maps
- When the map on the Contact page loads, Google may use its own cookies, which are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
The site itself sets no cookies while you browse. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we use for visit statistics, does not use cookies and does not identify you.
3.Legal basis
The language preference and the session cookie are needed to provide what you ask for and rely on Article 5(2)(c) and (f) of KVKK. The map on the Contact page is there to show where our office is; our address is also written on the page if you prefer not to use it.
4.How to control them
You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser’s settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in to the submission system; if you delete the language preference the site opens in its default language.
5.Changes
If we add a new cookie or similar technology to the site, we will update this page.
