About

Circuits and Embedded Systems is an interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to research on electronic circuits, embedded computing, and hardware–software integration. The journal provides a platform for theoretical advances, innovative designs, experimental investigations, and practical implementations that connect circuit technologies with embedded system architectures.

The journal welcomes original research articles, critical reviews, methodological contributions, and technical case studies. Contributions should clearly explain their novelty, describe their methods in sufficient detail, and provide appropriate analytical, simulation-based, or experimental validation.

Circuits and Embedded Systems publishes research on electronic circuits, embedded architectures, and hardware–software integration, spanning foundational methods, innovative designs, and validated applications.

Publication Model: Continuous Publication

Plagiarism and Originality Check Policy: The originality of the manuscript submitted is the responsibility of the publisher. Submission, plagiarism, and self-plagiarism must be avoided by writers. Manuscript submission in the CrossCheck server ( http:/www.ithenticate.com/ ) will be checked for plagiarism. iThenticate is a system that tests the originality of the submitted material and helps detect plagiarism. Authors can also use iThenticate to display their own credentials prior to submission. The similarity percentage must be less than 25% without bibliography.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy:

Research involving human remains must comply with applicable legal requirements and relevant ethical standards. Authors must report the provenance of the materials studied and the permissions or approvals applicable to their research. Destructive sampling must be justified and appropriately authorized. The presentation of human remains and associated information must be respectful and sensitive to cultural and community concerns.

Aims & Scope

Circuits and Embedded Systems aims to advance the design, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of circuits and embedded technologies.

The journal encourages research that addresses performance, energy efficiency, reliability, security, and real-time operation. Particular emphasis is placed on contributions that connect hardware and software design decisions with measurable system outcomes and reproducible evaluation.

The journal welcomes contributions in the following areas:

• Analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Integrated circuits, VLSI architectures, and system-on-chip design.
• FPGA-based systems and reconfigurable computing.
• Microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded architectures.
• Embedded software, firmware, and real-time operating systems.
• Hardware–software co-design and design automation.
• Embedded artificial intelligence, TinyML, and edge computing.
• Digital signal processing circuits and hardware accelerators.
• Sensors, instrumentation, data acquisition, and interface circuits.
• Internet of Things devices, wireless sensor nodes, and embedded communications.
• Low-power design, energy management, and energy harvesting interfaces.
• Hardware security, secure firmware, and trusted embedded systems.
• Verification, testing, fault diagnosis, and dependable system design.
• Embedded control, robotics, automotive systems, and industrial applications.
• Biomedical circuits, wearable devices, and application-specific embedded systems.

Application-oriented studies should demonstrate a clear contribution to circuit design or embedded system development. Purely software-based studies without a substantive connection to embedded hardware, resource constraints, or hardware–software interaction fall outside the journal’s scope.
